NGDCs .. I have gone for Nalambala Darsanam in the month of Karkkitaka to the Northern side of Ernakulam with Triprayar, Kootal Manikyam, Moozhikkulam and Payammel(if my memory is right 🤔🤔..) too.. 

But our Karayoga Vanitha Samajam felt that after visiting Payammel Shatrugna Temple going back to Triprayar and coming back to Ernakulam is a lil too much an ask for a day of pilgrimage.. So for the last few years or so they are going for the Piravom side Nalambala Darsana Punyam .. Last year also, I wanted to go but getting up early been a difficult to deal issue.. Somehow after regular monthly Bhagavatha Sapthaha Parayanam got started, getting up early seems easier now a days.. So I put the mobile alarm for 3.00 am in the morning and got up before 3.10 am itself without much snooze  worries..

The Bus is scheduled to leave from Palluruthy Azhakiyakavu Bhagavathi Temple as early as 5.30 am.. Its Saturday morning, 19th July 2025 .. 

Despite some good rains in the morning I started from home in a cycle after the bath as early around 4.40 am or so..  Had a Bannana, Carrot and a Nellicka along with some Sprite before starting .. The newly bought Rs.100/- Rain Coat gave a good cover from the fairly good rains that was happening while riding the cycle to Palluruthy Azhakiyakavu Bhagavathi Temple.. 

While I decided to go with Bermuda and Shirt under RainCoat while riding cycle, also took a Dhothi and "Thorthu" in the back pack bag ..

Reached the temple before 5.00 am itself and had a good "Darsanam" of Bhagavathi when the Temple opened at 5.00 am .. Locked and kept the cycle there and wrapped the Dhoti above Bermuda, put "Kanikka" in the Bhandaram and also made a "Pradakshinam" around in  the Bhagavathi Temple .. 

Other groups were also there going for the Nalambala Darsanam including that of AIR fame and Kanchi Kamakoti Aasthana Vidvan and singer Sri. Ganesh Prabhu ..

Our Bus arrived at around 5.45 am and there were 4 more people to board from the starting point .. We also collected  and stored Iddalies and Tea from the nearby Rao Restaurant in the Bus Dickey .. 

And the Bus got filled with more than 40 people on the way forward from different places .. I could get a window seat at the back side of the Bus ..

And with Bhajana and collective Vishnu Sahasranamam chanting the Bus moved forward via the Kundannoor byepass road, Thrippoonithura (Bye pass probably), Mulanthuruthy and on ........

The first destination been planned to be the "Pazhoor Perum Thrikkovil Temple" .. 🙏🙏 ..

I slightly dozed off and when woke up and looked thru the window saw the big Arch in front of  Pazhoor Perum Thrikkovil.. We were going past the temple and the driver seems to have forgotten about the first destination and been heading straight to Sreerama Temple in Mamalassery .. 

I shouted up and said that we have gone past the Pazhoor Temple and the driver after going forward a few kilometres found a suitable place to reverse the Bus and we reached the Pazhoor Perum Thrikkovil Kshetram.. 🙏🙏 ..

It was "Nedyam" time when we reached there ..  And after "Nedyam" before the "Nada Adachu Pooja" we had the Darsan of "Perum Thrikkovilappan" .. Put the "Kanikka" in the Bhandaram, and did a "Namaskaram" before Lord Shiva and then while getting back to Bus also bought a Kerala Monsoon Bumper Lottery Ticket that is scheduled for draw in the next week ..

The next it was Lord Rama temple at Mamalassery..

We got down at the main road junction and had a walk to the temple.. The Bus went ahead to get a right place to turn and reached the Temple premise later .. 

Did a Namaskaram before the Lord and listened to the Ramayana Parayanam that was going on there ..🙏🙏 ..

 Bought some "Appam" prasadam from the temple and then we had our iddali sambar chutney and tea breakfast in the nearby house premise having a well with a Kappi and Kayar bucket  .. 

Once the breakfast got  finished took water from the well for washing hands using the Kappi and Kayar, tied all the  used Paper Plates and paper glasses in a sack that we brought along with later and put everything into the Bus Dickey for a later disposal .. 

Now we started off to our next destination ie  "Memmury Bharatha Temple" ..

Probably a 500 or 600 meter walk to the Temple from the Main Road and had the Darsan of Bharatha Swamy .. Many people conducted different different "Vazhipadukal" there including the "Paduka Samarppanam" .. 

I also took a Pancha Namaskaram before the Lord and offered Kanikka..

Bought some "Pappadam" from there while getting out of the Temple and walked back to the Bus .. The Muvattupuzha Aaru (river) while traveling been a slightly scenic watch with the rain clouds above while traveling to the Bharatha Temple.. 🙏🙏 ..

Next to the Mulakkulam Lakshmana Temple via Pampakkuda Bus Station ..

A gorgeous Temple brimming with action .. Did a Namaskaram before Lakshmana Swami .. 🙏🙏 ..

Bought Paalppayasam and Aravana and they asked us to have food at the Annadana hall .. Kanjhi and Kappa with Achar and Salt was nice to have at around or just before 12.00 pm .. Good Toilet facilities too been  arranged there .. 

I also gave donations for their well arranged Annadanam Programmes.. 🙏🙏 .. 

Next destination was Nedungattu Shatrughnan Temple..

Maybe a 300 or 400 meter walk from main road.. Had a good Darsan of Shathrugna Swamy .. Did a Pancha Namaskaram and put Kanikka .. 🙏🙏..

Bought some Poottu Payasam .. Had a photo session and then back to Mamalassery Rama Kshethram again .. Prayed just before the Temple closes .. Had a photo session there too before returning with a slight hurry burry tinged song played in the background probably towards the end of the journey .. 🤔🤔 ..

NB:-

But cannot conclude mentioning some "Nostalgia" in the Bus while returning, under the rains with the scenic beauty of Coconut Trees below the cloudy skies..  Been a great enchantner along with blues kind of melodies played in the Bus .. Probably a kind of "Aathma Badha" as said by one 🤔🤔.. 

Really the Big Bus return  Travels during Monsoon Season in Kerala with a glass window seat is really worth experiencing only, beyond words.. Probably with an added fing too if it is in an Air Bus.. 🙏🙏 ..
