One of the confusion that it provided is something like Nigudha Samkhyam getting interpreted as Gudha Samkhyam. Though there are subtle differences people, tried to interpret that as they are selfsame. In an advaita point of view not just them, but all could be selfsame. But with a Dvaita point of view, as interpreted in the following link as "Vyakhyatha Vetthi, Na Kavi", maybe with God as the Greatest Unknown indweller, we may need to do some distinguishing.

In the above link, he might also be referring to fact of Dvaita that, the author need not be much aware of the marketing aspects.
Before getting into more intricate aspects with a publisher's attitude with the determination of Yoga Maya, let me present first an answer that can be derived from one of the links above.
It is said, even the thousand tounged Anantha can not describe well the Great God. From the question Maha Samkhyam must be God It/That/Him/Her/Whatever Self.
Nigudha Samkhyam must be that which can be talked of God with an element of Mystery known to none other than God.

Now B, who is the Head of a Financial Institution extending car loans, calls on one of his executives to drop in a list of Car Financing schemes in A's house with B's Name and House Address on the visiting card which seems as a part of a Regular Campaign done by the Institution.
A sees this and tells about his friendship with B to his wife. After a day A calls B and B said, the other day, he had a dream in which B's favourite God came to him and told to arrange a loan for A to buy a Car. A not even buys a Car taking loan from B, but also becomes a Great Devottee of Great God.
An earnest atheist who tried to analyse how, A became immediately a Devottee of God, could never find out the role of "C" (which became a missing link) in an Ordinary Samkhyam analysis and this incident appears to him as an aspect of Nigudha Samkhyam or even just as coincidence, whereas the C man could only just smile at the Great God's Great Ways of promoting action. Another athiest highly devotted to C man and his abilities on Samkhyam also could understand the ordinary Samkhyam behind Gudha Samkhyam.
But still the Great Maha Samkhyam and the revealed real Nigudha Samkhyam remained a mysterious thing.
Getting more into the intricacies, in the whole story, though Gudha Samkhyam and Nigudha Samkhyam may appear selfsame, the subtle difference with a Dvaita concept is that of the difference between Prakruthi and Purusha that do appear Selfsame with Advaita concepts.
Though the C man happens to be instrumental in getting dropped there at the house of A and happens to overhear the needs of A, how and why that happens is the real "Nigudha Samkhyam" matter and whatever happens later being matters of Gudha Samkhyam maybe. Perhaps while as a part of Maha Samkhyam, forces of attraction and rejection give rise to Nigudha Samkhyam, the point power, like the all encompassing randomness, who is perhaps also called God of Science that might be playing with the Ultimate Power Principle of Yogamaya's Space of Determination with something like so called "Black Holes". Though the determination of "Yoga Maya" might have been able interpret one of the random acts of Science as seen in Radioactive decay phenomenon of carbon dating with "Half Life", but She fails miserably in her Determination, in predicting which atom shall next go for the conversion into Air principle.
This is precisely the area where Nigudha Samkhyam does its intervention in predicting with higher precision regarding which atom shall go next into the air with forces of attraction and repulsion. Maybe the "Maha Samkhyam" does this, with 100% precision, but Nigudha Samkhyam strives for at least some distinction with its point power of attraction and repulsion.
Maybe the "Gudha Samkhyam" with C man tries to compete with God with patterns that seem 100% fool proof (like Half – Life) along with the determination of Yogamaya, but still He is amazed at the Maha Samkhyam acts of God and its somewhat partly manifested point power with the randomness of Nigudha Samkhyam.
